  The Cool Greenhouse is a new musical group from London.
  
  The single is a two-sided slice of lo-fi bedroom punk, fronted by the enigmatic Tom Greenhouse. The Cool Greenhouse are here to influence the modern listener and awake them out of their state of slumber into the modern era where they can face the cold-harsh realities of the modern living.
  
  The Cool Greenhouse have an amazing way of pin-pointing the mundane nuances of British culture in 3 minute sharp stabs of sarcasm. Tom Greenhouse writes with great lyrical awareness and this single would sit comfortably in the lexicon of great 80s post-punk recordings, However this is a record from 2018 and really hits the contemporary jugular of British sensibilities.
  
  "London" details the band's short-lived misadventures as residents of London and their attempts to grapple with the extortionate rent, the extortionate coffee, their own unwitting complicity in gentrification and the invasion of green parakeets, among other things. the promo video can be viewed at www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fLNZv85aZg.
  
  The B-side "the End of the World" espouses the view that the impending apocalypse might not be so bad after all. Or at least that it's the best available perspective given that individual environmental efforts seem to be something of a red herring in the face of corporate and state apathy.
  
  The record is limited to 300 copies and come housed in a risograph sleeve, each copy comes with a fantastic double-sided insert and a piece of rubbish from the streets of London.
